Using a Sustained Sub-Community Outreach Approach for COVID-19 Vaccination and other Health Needs: Strategy for Reducing Health Disparities

​​​​Historically marginalized communities have been disproportionately affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. The Gyedi Project has developed a unique sub-community outreach strategy, facilitated primarily through remote outreach and minimal funding, to advertise and host COVID-19 vaccination pop-up clinics to promote community safety and trust. This presentation highlights lessons learned, and plans for sustained community outreach to support BIPOC Coloradans with equitable healthcare access during and beyond the pandemic.
